Hit it Again Challenge - Full program description
Caswell has come up with all new ways to motivate us to become
healthier in 2010. It will begin April 12 and last through the end
of the year! Exercise and being healthy is a lifetime commitment
and by making this program 9 months long, Caswell hopes to help
us create healthy habits that will be with us for years to come.

Caswell's Gold Rush! |
The Gold Rush is designed to encourage overall health, health awareness,
and disease prevention. It challenges each employee or spouse to
earn points which will be rewarded when the individual has reached
a certain level. You do not need to register to be involved in this
program. Points may be earned by :
- Monthly blood pressure checks(100 pts), weight checks by OHG

- Participating in the Lipid Profile screenings (2000 pts)
- Exercise that has been logged into the Hit the Bricks challenge
( 1 pt per minute of exercise)
- Participating in any local organized run/walk event (10 pts
per mile of event)
- Choosing a monthly goal and having a 90% success rate (50 pts
per month) Goal Details
- Participating in any lunch and learn, or other Caswell sponsored
event (to be determined)
There will be a silver level rewarded at $50 if an individual reaches
5,000 points. When the gold level of 10,000 points is reached another
$50 will be awarded for a total of $100. The rewards can be taken
in the form of rebates seen in your paycheck or may be spent in
the Caswell Store. If you are an employee not working in one of
the Huntsville offices, some of these goals may be harder for you.
Please plan to participate and contact Beth Boyer with individual
questions on the best way to reach your goal!

Hit the Bricks! |
This program is a continuation of our Hit the Bricks program from
2006 where we will log our exercise in to the Hit the Bricks system
with a few changes. For this challenge you will be signing up by
business group. Your business group will be competing with the other
business groups for the highest average points! We will need an
advocate from each business group so please volunteer if you would
like to be the cheerleader for your team! In addition to the competition,
all points logged into the Hit the Bricks System will be counted
toward your personal Gold Rush total.
- Winners will be based on the average number of points earned
per participant so that each business group has a fair chance.
- Each quarter the winning business group will be treated to a
healthy lunch celebration where they will be awarded the Hit it
Again traveling trophy to proudly display for the quarter.
- Each minute of activity counts as one point with a maximum of
90 points a day.
